A decisive beta for uCalc Fast Math Parser was uploaded today. Though there is some more fine-tuning left to do, what you see in this May beta is very likely to be pretty much what the next version will be like (barring user feedback to the contrary). A help file was added, VB.NET limitations in last month’s beta were resolved, and now there’s a demo for VC++ (PB, VB, Delphi, and BC++B demos were already there). Several 2.0 features that were listed as obsolete in last month’s beta were restored. The syntax for ucDefineFunction and ucDefineVariable was simplified and made a little bit more compatible with 2.0.

At this stage, additional feedback on the beta is needed so that the next version can be released. I especially need to hear from customers who have in the past made suggestions and/or reported limitations in 2.0. It is very important to check and verify that you are able to transfer your code to the new version, and that the limitations that were reported are resolved. Feedback from non-customers is welcome as well.
