Nothing is set in stone yet regarding pricing for the next version. But it may go something like this:

uCalc Language Builder: $950
uCalc Fast Math Parser: $600

The multiple options of Lite, Standard, and Professional for version 2.0, have caused a lot of confusion. So there will likely be just one commercial version of uCalc Fast Math Parser. It will likely be the equivalent of 2.0’s Professional license.

There may also be some freebies, such as a stripped down evaluator, that consists only of ucEval, with perhaps one or two other FMP routines, and maybe an interpreter, or a simplified version of it.

For the next version, the new flagship product is likely to be uCalc Language Builder . It takes things to a whole new level by providing support for language construction, and scripting.

The next version of uCalc Fast Math Parser happens to only be one out of many possible ways to implement the Language Builder. Although the Language Builder idea has not caught on yet on its own right, advanced uCalc FMP users are almost certain to eventually end up requiring Language Builder functionality beyond documented FMP features.
